I have just blogged 3 net-books.
One is the boyhood work from when I was 7 that contains things of scientific interest to me, but which was stolen in its handwritten form before I got to type it up fully.
I don’t think it belongs to anyone else because as both my parents have said “John wrote it.”
I have called it The Invention of Wallpaper and Other Miracles.
The second is a book of songs.
They are trying to make me go Anon with it.
I have been a little bit light fingered with reworking melodies sometimes, but it also contains some of my most original writings, like the song ‘Dream With Open Eyes’ by Secret Chord H and the spoken word piece ‘That Black Natural E.’
In short I don’t wish to go Anon with it because I believe a writer has a right to a name otherwise an Exclusion of the Individual Machine can close ranks against you.
The songbook was called Dark Dream Radio & The Infinite Broadcast, and is now called Yeah.
The third is a book of lovepoems mainly, and is called Bunchapoems.
It actually starts with a short story which I wrote in Sixth Form, then comes the poetry.
If ever I were to bring them out as a single book, I’d do them in that order, boyhood, songs, love poems, and call it The Phosphorus Trilogy.
