'REMEMBER A DAY'

I love this Pink Floyd song. It was going to go on Piper but went on the second album Saucerful of Secrets instead. I love the haunting and ethereal slide guitar from Syd Barrett and everything about the song. When I listen to it it's like there is real acid coming from the speaker. I would say music can transport us to far off realms. I would say it is penetration of the isness of life; that meaning in it is solipsistic, faces in the fire or creatures in the cloud-change. When I listen to this song it's like I have memories that are not mine own but come from my father who was an original hippy in the 1960's. It also reminds me of the bond I have with my brother. It's the sort of song that can stop you trying to end your own life and bring back a feeling of love.
